Le Mesnil-sur-Oger
Our winery is located in the heart of Le Mesnil, one of the earliest classified grand cru villages and home to some 1200 inhabitants. The village itself was founded in medieval times, its street names still evoking the old ramparts.
Giving Back to the Community
For Yvonne Seier Christensen, Le Mesnil proved a rare opportunity to develop her own approach to winemaking. By restoring an old winery in the village, she not only aims to create the finest champagne. She wants to give back to the place that made it all possible.
What to do in Le Mesnil
Enjoy a hearty lunch in one of the restaurants in Le Mesnil or visit Musée de la Vigne et du Vin, just down the road from our winery. Run by local winemakers, the museum boasts an impressive collection of champagne-making equipment, including a grape press from the 1600s.
A Match Made in Champagne
Partnering up with the prestigious Comité Champagne, an official winemaker’s institution which since the late 1800s has upheld the strictest standards of Champagne, we’ve benefitted from the guidance and counsel of some of the best in the field.
